Data Analyst
Position Summary
Industrial Data Associates (IDA) is seeking a Data Analyst to join our product data optimization team. Our clients include Fortune 1000 distributors, manufacturers, and retailers working to transform and improve large amounts of complex data. This position is responsible for performing data analysis activities under the leadership of the Project Lead. The ideal candidate possesses highly critical analytical thinking and excellent personal time management skills.
This is a remote / 3-month contract to hire position.
About You
Self-starter who is comfortable with hard deadlines. The Data Analyst must be a critical thinker and bring fresh ideas. Because IDA offers a remote work option, this role requires a high level of initiative and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
Data Analyst Responsibilities

Perform in-depth analysis and produce deliverables to standardize product data according to the client project specifications.

Learn new subject matter to be able to speak to and substantiate data decisions directly to the client.

Perform data mining activities and competitive research to provide subject matter recommendations.

Test and validate product data deliverables.

Attend scheduled web meetings and be available and working during scheduled working hours.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, math or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

2+ years of professional, post-academic experience demonstrating some of the position responsibilities, preferably for a technology, medical, science or other data related company.

High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Effective and polished written and spoken English communication skills.

Time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Confidence preparing and delivering highly polished documentation.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with ecommerce platforms, PIMs, and other business intelligence or data managements tools.
Solutions Architect
Position Summary
Industrial Data Associates is seeking a Solutions Architect with PIM and ecommerce experience to join our product data solutions team. Our clients include Fortune 1000 distributors, manufacturers, and retailers working to transform and improve large amounts of complex product data. This position is responsible for defining solutions related to technical architecture, data modeling, and product information design and governance. The ideal candidate is an experienced consultant who can manage client relationships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders, define requirements, lead data modeling activities, engineer solutions, manage implementations, and build governance programs.
This is a full-time, remote position, but IDA also hires independent consultants who prefer to work on a contract basis.

Solutions Architect Responsibilities

Assist in design and management of PIM configuration, integration, and implementation projects by gathering and documenting business requirements and working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborate with project DBA, data analysts and project managers to define project plan and consulting solutions.

Quality and timeliness of ETL deliveries.

Recommend implementation strategies that are aligned with business requirements.

Summarize technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Oversee process and governance documentation.

Maintain a working knowledge of PIM and ecommerce solutions, common integrations, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications

5+ years related work experience in data management.

5+ years’ experience working with various PIM and ecommerce systems.

Project Manager
Position Summary
Industrial Data Associates is seeking a Project Manager to join our product data optimization team. Our clients include Fortune 1000 distributors, manufacturers, and retailers working to transform and improve large amounts of complex data. The Project Manager will work with a team of Data Analysts and Developers to manage workstreams and ensure projects are delivered on time. The ideal candidate is an experienced project manager with excellent personal time management skills.
This is a full-time, remote position, but IDA also hires independent PMs who prefer to work on a contract basis.
About You
Self-starter who is comfortable with hard deadlines. The Project Manager must be a critical thinker and have the skills to keep projects moving along on schedule and on budget. Because IDA offers a remote work option, this role requires a high level of initiative and the ability to manage multiple interdependent teams.
Project Manager Responsibilities

Work with Client Partners and Engagement Leads to create project scopes and schedules for client delivery.

Schedule and drive internal team discussions to support overall progress.

Identify any challenges and create a mitigate plan for potential issues.

Coordinate with Client Partners to schedule and present status meetings and identify any project-related issues.

Manage overall project time to ensure schedules and budgets are met.

Review client deliverables and provide delivery quality assurance where applicable.

Maintain a working knowledge of PIM and ecommerce terminology

Manage scope of work and negotiate change orders.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, business, management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

2+ years of project management experience leading and directing teams.

2+ years’ experience working with various PIM and ecommerce systems.

High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Confidence preparing and delivering highly polished documentation and presentations.

Proven track record of working independently and communicating effectively.
Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification or equivalent.

Proficient in information architecture, taxonomy design, and data quality.
