An element of a web form where a user is given a list of choices and they can check as many as apply.

Check Boxes can be useful for multivalued attributes where multiple values can apply to one type of item. For example, safety glasses can be both scratch resistant and anti-fog. With Check Boxes, either or both of those values can be entered or searched for.
