Data Maintenance

v.

/ˈdeɪtə ˈmeɪntənəns/

The ongoing management and verification of data in a system to ensure that an organization continues to operate effectively.

In order for PIM to remain useful and show value, the attributes, data record, descriptions, hierarchy, validations, and other related product information need to be frequently maintained.
