1. In Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), a storage region with a unique identity which contains values or groups of values and has its own set of attributes and behaviors. An object can be encapsulated and reused.
2. In relational databases, a database object is a data structure used to store and reference data. These are instantiated cases of the data objects seen in OOP, constrained by the class assigned to them by the database software. Database Objects include table, index, or table view.
