The process of creating a hyperlink to a page or other content on a website other than the homepage.
Deep linking sends a user directly to a location deeper than the homepage within a website. This prevents the need for further navigation by the user. Some sites do not support deep linking due to platform limitations. Other sites do not allow deep linking as a way to control information and ensure advertisement views.
