A method of creating, organizing and maintaining hierarchical taxonomies across an enterprise.

Hierarchy Management is the process of administering all hierarchies within an organization. The hierarchies may contain different data, such as customer information and product details. The hierarchies may also present different views of the same data. Hierarchy Management controls these structures and their relationships. It also allows for changes to be made at a high level across all components of the enterprise. Hierarchy Management supports Master Data Management.
