The master hierarchy tree for a group of products maintained within the Product Information Management (PIM) system.

This taxonomy may be different from what a customer can see on the website or in a catalog. Its purpose is to be the stable base of product information, designed for greatest ease of use across the business, with all products having exactly one home in the hierarchy.
