Definition

An implementation of the Logical Data Model for use in a database management system.

Physical Data Models would reflect the specific requirements of the database used and might include practical information such as data storage estimates and the database articles which create relationships between tables. These are more detailed and less abstract than the previous Conceptual and Logical Data Models.
