An item that is available for sale.

A Product the smallest unit in a hierarchy the purpose of a PIM implementation is to organize products and make them easier to sell. Products can be physical items like coffee mugs or digital items, such as an eBook. Sometimes each SKU individually is considered a separate product, sometimes groups of SKUs are marketed together as one product: for example, a t-shirt design might be managed as one product with all the colors and sizes of the shirt grouped together. This view of products is called a base-variant relationship.
