A connection between entities.

In a logical data model, lines connecting entities represent a relationship. The basic types of relationships can be one to one, many to many, one to many, or one to none or many. In example, one computer can have many software compatibilities is a one to many relationship. When the data model is built and shows the details of entity-relationships and attributes, it is ready to be implemented for a PIM platform.
