The act of receiving and onboarding data from outside sources.

Data syndication is the process in which data from suppliers, vendors, and other entities is picked up by a different business system. After a business receives data from an outside source, it is transformed, typically automatically, to fit its data management standards, which are likely different than that of the sending party’s.
