Third Party Taxonomy
/θɜrd ˈpɑrti tækˈsɑːnəmi/
A hierarchy tree which is maintained by another organization.
Data may have to be exported to a Third Party Taxonomy. The process of mapping the two taxonomies to each other is very similar to managing more than one internal hierarchy, as the relationships between the two sets of categories must be made clear in order to transfer items between the two hierarchy trees.
