A visualization of a hierarchy with data displaying the descending levels of categories as branches aiding in visualizing the category relationships.

The tree view can be very helpful navigating as well as visualizing a data hierarchy. In SkuDB the tree view is found on the left-hand side of the app and lower hierarchy levels are represented with indentations. The levels can be collapsed and expanded to make it easier for users to focus on a particular section of the hierarchy. Other representations of the tree view use lines to connect parent and child category relationships and generally appear as an inverted tree.
