Material on a website made by the users of the site rather than copy generated by the owners.

Many sites with User Generated Content have articles, posts, pictures, reviews, or definitions posted by the site's visitors. To ensure that the content is appropriate to the site, someone works for the owner of the site or on behalf of the community to moderate the content. Sites that create most of their own content may have sections of User Created Content in the form of comment sections or reviews. Reviews can provide information to a user which may lead to a purchasing decision.
