A central place where data can be stored.

Typically vast amounts of structured data is stored in the warehouse system. Once the data is accessed from the warehouse, it can be used to for business intelligence. Warehouse systems often are more accurate with product information. A PIM platform is often used to create a central overview for collecting and distributing this information in real time.
