Attributes that require population when another attribute in the record has a certain value.


Dependent attributes allow for certain schema to only be applicable to a subset of products within a category. An example would be an attribute <Used Condition> (LOV: {Like New, Very Good, Good, Acceptable}) is dependent upon a <Condition> value of {Used}. Only items which meet <Condition> = {Used} may have a value for <Used Condition>; <Condition> = {New} items fall outside of the set.
